I'm Ash Yip, a New York documentary director who photographs events the way I direct films: quietly, observantly, and with an eye for the moments people remember. Coverage runs 3–12 hours, in Manhattan, the Hamptons, and South Florida.

Charity galas move quickly — arrivals, speeches, paddle raises, the dance floor. I work as a discreet documentary presence, covering the program and the candid moments between it.
Group portraits of honorees, sponsors, and tables are captured alongside atmosphere and detail so your team has a full record of the night.
Step-and-repeat coverage needs consistency, clean light, and pace. I photograph arrivals and press walls with an editorial finish.
For corporate dinners, client evenings, and brand launches I document the room, the hosts, the product, and the conversations — images suited to internal recaps, press, and social media.
I also cover private after-parties, gallery openings, and art-week events, as well as art and fashion events. Travel between New York and Miami is included on multi-day bookings.
